Much ado about nothing
Summer Acting workshop
in the park
In this workshop in the park, we cover the entirety of Shakespeare's famous comedy, in its original English. You choose the role (or roles!) you most want to play, decide if you want to come once, twice or three times a week .... and then
DIVE IN!
A month full of exploring Shakespeare's amazing characters, learning how to build that special tension between characters that keeps a story compelling, getting the comedic timing down perfectly, and how to find your personal, unique perspective on what's going on in this super complex, rather tragic comedy (cause man - some crazy stuff goes down in this play!)
In short, by the end of this month-long workshop, you'll have performed an entire Shakespeare character, explored the techniques of Shakespearean acting, learned how to understand and embody a character, and explored the physical aspects of action and comedy on stage. And had an all around good time.
